California Trip 2013

California dreaming....still. Spent 3 great days in California at the end of April on a photography trip which was led by Bill R. Shewchuk from Morro Bay. Thanks Bill, had an awesome time. And thanks Beth for the invitation. I'm hooked now. There were 7 of us tagging along with Bill and needless to say, we had lots of fun. It wasn't enough time to do it justice but gave me the incentive to go back again and work my way up the California coast. The Sea Otters were adorable and very interesting to watch as they spun around and kept their hands and feet out of the water. The highlight of the trip for me was the whale watching. We left Monterey Bay and went 11 miles off shore to find several Humpback Whales that came very close to the boat. Can't wait to go back and do it again.
